On August 12, Jining Energy Group organized a work report meeting to improve the "four capabilities". Zhang Guangyu, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Jining Energy Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Wang Chongjing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Jining Energy Group, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, 16 heads of departments of the group headquarters took turns to report on their work, combined with the work of their respective departments in the first half of the year, summarized the highlights of their work, reviewed the "four capabilities", and planned the next steps.

Zhang Guangyu commented on the "work report" report one by one. In his concluding speech, he said that the middle-level management cadres of the group headquarters are the core and backbone of the group company, and play a role in connecting the upper and lower levels in the work organization. The professional quality, management ability and leadership ability of the middle-level also affect the development level of the group company. Middle-level cadres at all levels must accurately understand the intentions of the group party committee: they must understand the original intentions of the group party committee and not take it out of context; they must understand the deep meaning of the group party committee and not be superficial in their requirements and decisions; they must understand the true meaning of the group party committee and carefully understand and ponder the work arranged by the group party committee, and strive to create real and testable work results.
In terms of how to grasp the intentions of the group party committee, Zhang Guangyu requires that we must grasp the focus of the group party committee and do the work to the point. We must grasp the focus of the group party committee, figure out what are the key links and weak links, and put our efforts in the most important places. We must grasp the vigilance points of the group party committee, sort out the possible situations through detailed and thoughtful planning and work, and have corresponding response plans to continuously promote the implementation of various tasks. To grasp the intentions of the group party committee, we must capture them from words and deeds, grasp them from actions, and find out from the things assigned. We must analyze and grasp the intentions of the group party committee in a coherent, systematic and comprehensive manner, and complete the various tasks and goals of the group company through effective measures.
Zhang Guangyu emphasized that middle-level cadres at all levels must develop the ability to summarize and think frequently. We must understand that "working hard can only get you a pass, but working with your brain can be excellent". We must be diligent in thinking. The depth of thinking determines the intensity of work. Diligent thinking is an important manifestation of cadres' determination to make progress. We must be good at thinking, thinking about problems from different angles, being good at breaking conventions, boldly innovating, and turning more impossible things into possible ones. We must think deeply and not be influenced by "old thinking", which leads to too many concerns and worries about gains and losses. We must ask others for advice more often, learn to "borrow brains", and do a good job of brainstorming and learning from others.
Middle-level cadres at all levels must develop a habit of being happy to learn. We must read "books with words" frequently, and truly regard reading "books with words" well as a work responsibility. We must read more new theories and new policy books related to job responsibilities, so as to increase knowledge, broaden our horizons, and improve our thinking ability. We must read more books related to philosophical knowledge, learn from the ideas in them, and look at problems from a connected perspective, so as to continuously promote learning and application. We must read "books without words" frequently. Iron shoulders are pressed out, and strong abilities are forced out. We should shoulder more responsibilities, practice "internal strength" and strengthen our muscles and bones in the face of wind and rain, and promote the comprehensive development of "morality, ability, diligence and performance". We should communicate more with superior departments, deeply study the spirit of the documents and instructions issued by superior departments, study policy theories, summarize the "inside situation" and grasp the "outside situation", always be "clear in mind", and promote the completion of the annual task goals of the group company as scheduled, and provide strong guarantee and support for "creating a 100 billion group and building a century-old energy".
The meeting required that we should lead and guide in place. We should focus on the "23412" key tasks and battle tasks of the group company, anchor the annual operating goals, focus on key links, tap "potential points", stop "loss points", cultivate "growth points", and make every effort to do a good job in the third quarter, ensuring that the production and operation results are better than the second quarter, and the second half of the year is better than the first half of the year. Support should be in place. Management cadres at all levels should give full play to their exemplary role, take the lead in going deep into the front line, serving the grassroots, and take the lead in studying and solving problems, breaking bottlenecks and solving problems. The management level should continue to deepen the assistance and research of newly established enterprises and mixed-ownership enterprises to improve the quality and efficiency of operations.
