Recently, Longgong Port and Jingwei Hengrun jointly launched an unmanned container truck training activity, focusing on in-depth interpretation of HAV unmanned container truck structure, principles, and innovative practices of unmanned driving in all scenarios of automated terminals. They also held an application technology exchange and sharing meeting to expand the knowledge reserve of technical personnel in relevant departments and enhance their emergency response skills for unmanned transportation in ports.

It is reported that this training activity is divided into theoretical explanations, exchanges, and practical learning. The training content covers six core parts of unmanned horizontal transportation systems, namely "vehicle, road, network, cloud, map, and operation". Experts from Jingwei Hengrun analyzed the basic architecture of unmanned horizontal transportation systems around knowledge points such as vehicle electrical systems, safety systems, and braking systems, and provided detailed explanations on the "intelligent communication private network", "cloud control platform", "high-precision map", and "intelligent operation". Combined with the actual operation situation of ports, they analyzed how unmanned flatbed vehicles achieve autonomous driving and task allocation operations, and pointed out the key role and development necessity of unmanned transportation in reducing comprehensive logistics costs, Enable every employee to have a clearer understanding of the practical application achievements of unmanned container truck technology in the development of inland waterway transportation.
During the training period, technical personnel from various departments actively raised their doubts and questions about "artificial intelligence" and "unmanned transportation" to the experts, jointly exploring the difficulties and bottlenecks in the current unmanned application of ports, and deeply exploring the broader application of unmanned technology, laying a solid foundation for the innovative development of unmanned transportation in the next step. Each attending employee undergoes theoretical training to 'learn from thinking and practice', and conducts on-site inspections of the operating principles and emergency response plans of unmanned collection trucks, truly allowing every knowledge point to resonate and be implemented in practice.
The beginning of everything is difficult. To enhance the depth of knowledge reserves and the thickness of practical experience, we must bravely take the first step of learning! Although our unmanned transportation technology has matured, there is still a long way to go in terms of innovative applications. All technical personnel in Hong Kong will continue to be exposed to and learn intelligent applications of unmanned transportation, which will empower the innovative development of smart ports in the future. Zhang Yandong, the head of the Longgong Port Technology Special Team, said.
The unmanned truck collection training activity has provided Longgong Port technicians with a comprehensive understanding of unmanned horizontal transportation systems and a deep understanding of the entire automated production process of the port. Next, Longgong Port will normalize innovative technology application-oriented training and exchange activities, continuously improve the professional level of technical personnel, and play a "combination punch" of port innovation and efficiency improvement, continuously consolidate development advantages, and inject innovation power into the port's development.
