When selecting a high-pressure hose, you need to consider a variety of factors, including working pressure, inner diameter, length, bending radius, etc.
In order to ensure that the selected high-pressure hose can perform well in the actual application scenario, the following are some important guidelines to follow when selecting a high-pressure hose:
1. Working pressure: The rated working pressure of the selected high-pressure hose should match or be slightly higher than the maximum working pressure of the system, usually 4 times the maximum working pressure. For example, if the system pressure is 25MPa, then a hose with a rated pressure of 100MPa can be selected.
2. Flow rate inner diameter: Determine the inner diameter of the hose according to the flow rate of the medium. The flow rate is usually between 5-7.5 m/s, and the maximum does not exceed 10 m/s. The appropriate inner diameter can ensure the efficient operation of the system and avoid system heating and excessive pressure drop caused by too small an inner diameter.
3. Length joint: The length of the hose should be as short as possible to reduce resistance and heat loss. The length of a single hose should not be less than 5 meters, and the use of joints should be minimized to reduce the risk of leakage. The joint should have sufficient mechanical strength and try to match the inner diameter and shape of the hose.
